Stephen Gibson BChD
Stephen graduated from the University of Leeds in 1999 and has worked at York Place Dental Practice for over 15 years. He is passionate about clinical dentistry and likes the artistic nature of the job. Throughout his career Stephen has undergone extensive post graduate training in his preferred fields of cosmetic dentistry and endodontics (root canal fillings).
Stephen has a particular interest in minimally invasive aesthetic dentistry using techniques which remove little or no tooth structure. His attention to detail has earned him a reputation which now sees him receive referrals for complex smile makeovers.
Stephen has introduced the cutting edge techniques of ‘Digital Smile Design’ to York Place. From simple dental photographs, any potential changes to a smile are carefully planned one tooth at a time, using bespoke templates on his computer. This information can then be used to produce a virtual smile makeover on a photo; all this before any real teeth have even been touched!
Stephen lives in Harrogate with his partner Jo, and enjoys cooking and spending time with his friends.
